ENPI CBC "Mediterranean Sea Basin Programme": launch of the first call for proposals

The first call for standard projects of the European Neighbourhood Partnership Instrument (ENPI) Cross-Border-Cooperation"Mediterranean Sea Basin Programme" was launched concerning the four Programme Priorities. A total of €32 million was allocated for this call.

The general objective of this programme, which is managed by Sardegna, is to contribute towards the promotion of the sustainable and harmonious cooperation process at the Mediterranean Basin level by dealing with the common challenges and by enhancing its potentials.

In coherence with this objective, joint projects may be submitted under the following four priorities:  
1.        the promotion of socio-economic development and the enhancement of territories;
2.        the promotion of environmental sustainability;
3.        the promotion of better conditions and modalities for ensuring the mobility of persons, goods and capitals and
4.        the promotion of cultural dialogue and local governance.

Restricted Call for ESF Project Proposals VP/2009/012

The European Commission published a call for proposals under its ESF Technical Assistance operational budget “Learning for change - Setting up learning networks under the ESF 2007-2013”. The aim of this call was to facilitate the networking for capacity building and mutual learning between ESF Managing Authorities and implementing bodies and their strategic stakeholders.

A maximum budget of €3.6 million was set aside for commitments in 2009.  The call closed on 15th SEPTEMBER 2009. Further information can be obtained through the following document.
